External Internships

Curricular external internships are configured as an optional subject integrated into the curriculum of the Degree in Aerospace Engineering (6 ECTS credits). These internships will be carried out in the 4th year of the degree.

In the Master’s Degree in Aeronautical Engineering, curricular external internships correspond to a compulsory subject integrated into the curriculum (6 ECTS credits). These internships will be carried out in the 2nd year of the master’s degree.

These internships are aimed at completing and reinforcing the skills associated with the degree. They will be carried out in a real work and professional environment related to some area of ​​the degree, under the supervision of a tutor at the collaborating entity and an academic tutor at the center.

However, extracurricular internships can also be requested and carried out, which are managed by the FUVI (fundacionuvigo.es). Extracurricular internships may be recognized for the subject of Internships in Companies as long as the requirements specified in the EEAE external internship regulations are met. Students interested in doing extracurricular internships are advised to contact the center’s internship coordination (aero.empresas@uvigo.es).

Regarding the internships of the Master in Unmanned Aircraft Systems, the external internship subject is mandatory (9 ECTS credits). It is recommended to contact the degree coordinator (higiniog@uvigo.es).

For the realization of curricular internships, the School of Aeronautical and Space Engineering has collaboration agreements with different companies and entities, such as: COASA, ITP AERO, Alestis Aerospace, Grupo Oesía, GRI Towers, Megatech Industries, AIMEN, GRADIANT, Industrias Delta Vigo, Utingal, …
