The Royal Decree 1393/2007 of October 29, 2007, which establishes the regulations regarding the official university education requires that to verify and accredit a degree it is necessary to incorporate an internal quality guarantee system to evaluate, monitor and improve the educational offer quality.
In order to fulfil this requirement the School of Aeronautical and Space Engineering passed its Quality Guarantee System in the Quality Committee of July 16, 2018 and in the School Board meeting of July 19, 2018. The Quality Guarantee System passed by the centre was afterwards send to obtain the approval of the Quality Area in the University of Vigo. The Quality Area sent it to the ACSUG for its definitive approval. The positive certification report on the QGS design certification was issued by the ACSUG on July, 31, 2019.
The Quality Committee, chaired by the school director, is the responsible body for the planning of the tasks related with the implementation and monitoring of the Quality Guarantee System.
