In the Governing Board meeting of July 17, 2015, it was approved the creation of the School of Aeronautical and Space Engineering, being this creation ratified by the Social Board on the meeting of July 23, 2015, and passed by the Galician Government Council meeting on January 12, 2017 (DOG num. 16, of January 24, 2017).
The creation of the School of Aeronautical and Space Engineering includes the constitution of a school board, which is a collegiate body for representation and decision making integrated by teaching staff, students and administrative and service staff.
Since the first year of the Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering in 2016/2017, before the official approval of the School of Aeronautical and Space Engineering, and being necessary to have a governing board to manage the studies and the facilities, this competences where temporarily given to the school and degree boards by means of the Chancellor Resolution of May 16, 2016.
Once this extraordinary stage is over, it was necessary to undertake an election process for the School of Aeronautical and Space Engineering Board member.
To this effect, it was passed a specific regulation which provisionally regulates these elections.
